Hi! My name is Lera. On my shoulder in the photo is Yuchi — a mixed-breed dog (part mutt, part dachshund) who had a big influence on my animal photography career. He loves being photographed — probably because he gets paid a very good salary in edible currency. Below are photos published in Vogue. Yuchi is in the center 🤓

I’ve studied a bit of animal psychology, so during shoots I pay close attention to the dog’s comfort. And of course, to the human’s comfort as well. By the way, I’ve also studied human psychology a little. Funny coincidence — I hadn’t thought about that before :)

In my free time, I teach Russian as a foreign language online and talk with people from different countries. I love reading, nature, and the Netherlands. I also shoot street photography and share it on Instagram.
